Getting that Coily ‘Fro.  I know mine is messy but that’s my style. Everybody has their own methods in using the Twist Sponge. I do need to use more product for better results. In the meantime I’m Loving my Freedom Coily Curls.

  1. I like how your hair turned out. The videos were interesting, and the sponge styler sounds like a pretty neat product. It seemed easy to use, as I was watching. Did you find it pretty easy to get it to work?

    1. It took a few tries plus watching the videos carefully. Hair needs to be wet or at least moist. Just using essential oils does not create the desired curls so that’s why I decided to use the Amla Heavy Cream product and then go out and buy the small Ms. Jessie’s Curl. Also make sure to go in the same direction over the entire head. I got my best results going counter-clockwise. Now I’m almost a Pro!! LOL!! 🙂 😀 ❤

  2. It is fun to try different things. I like how you’re always experimenting and then showing us the results, such as the make-up, hair colors, and products you use. I just go for whatever is easy, these days. I did manage to dye away the gray not too long ago! 🙂 xo

    1. Yes simple and easy. I’m not one of those women who want to spend all day on my hair or make-up. When I was younger getting my hair done was an all day affair but now I go for quick and fast. I began coloring my hair at age 52 when over 90% of my hair had turned gray. Decided that gray was not my color and I wanted something bolder than brown so I went for red with great results. I get many compliments on my red hair color. Thank you Manic Panic!! LOL!! 🙂 😀 ❤

      1. Excellent! That is also quite bold. As for me I want to be daring and have a shock of Electric blue hair right in front and the rest of my Hair an Homage to the Purple One aka Prince!! The older I get the wackier I get! LOL!! 🙂 😀 ❤
