Today at Governor Andrew Cuomo State of the State Address!! Praise God for Divine Favor with Gov. Andrew Cuomo!! Praise God for Vice President Joe Biden. Last year Gov. Cuomo lost his Father Mario Cuomo was a Great Gov. and VP Biden lost his son to cancer. They understand. They care.
My Legal Team at A Better Balance had invited me to attend Governor Andrew Cuomo State of the State Address and at first I declined. Then yesterday at work I saw a 518 number on my cell phone. The Holy Spirit said return that call turns out that Gov. Andrew Cuomo had read the NY Times article about me and Stephen and through his representative I was personally invited to attend. When the Gov. calls you answer!! At first it was planned for me to give remarks but time was short since Vice President Biden was also in attendance and spoke.

It was an Honor to be at this State of the State Address at the McBurney YMCA located on 14th Street across from the Salvation Army church. A church I attended as a young woman. God said He would bring me before Great Men and he did. Jesus said Fear Not for I am with you always. Many Unions under the banner of AFL-CIO were represented and my only disappointment was not seeing anyone from DC 37 however during the continued standing ovations given to Gov. Cuomo and Vice President Biden I shouted out my Union DC 37!! DC 37 Local 1503 I did nothing special that any one of you cannot do. All you have to do is have faith but remember Faith without Works is dead!! There are people who believe in the Working Class!

Cuomo’s office but I actually saw chains breaking in the spirit world. Both speeches from Gov. Cuomo and Vice President Joe Biden were heartfelt, uplifting and empowering!! Wow!! The energy in the room was incredible. Like Tasha Cobbs sings in the song, “There’s an Army Rising Up!!” Working people are rising up in the Empire State!! With such outstanding Leadership we will Have Paid Family Leave in New York State for 2016!!

Cave house. Glass Dome House is too much exposure. I’m a person who enjoys her privacy anyway I would not feel comfortable parading around in the nude in a glass house!! Also the Cave house seems warmer and more cozy!

Grateful that the Lord God helped me make it safely to work on Saturday and brought me back home safely while braving the brutal elements of Snowstorm Jonas. Looking forward to seeing all this nasty gross snowy icy mess melt because the streets are still blocked and pedestrians are competing with the cars and buses for rights to walk the streets!! Also just saw an older man fall and EMS take him away in an ambulance. Sanitation has pushed up all the snow against the sidewalks so there are no pathways to cross the street or catch the bus! Can’t stand frozen dangerous weather! Ugh!!

My landlord is digging us out now. My room-mate and I were literally trapped inside the house by snow! I tried opening the front door and there was a snowdrift nearly as tall as me! Anyway we should be Free soon. Thank God today is my day off! Yesterday I had to fling myself over a four foot snowdrift just to get onto my block and inside my house. Glad I’m in good physical shape. Guess now I qualify for the winter Olympics Snow Vaulting competition!! LOL!!
The snow is knee deep and in some areas waist deep. Yesterday I really got in my cardio and resistance training walking from East 84th Street to 86th Street CPW to reach the subway station! All the shoveling will prevent those dreaded bat wings that plague ladies of a certain age. Yes folks this nearly 57 year old middle-age Woman is now ready for an Iron Woman competition!

Winter Storm Tempest Rages creating Cathedrals of Ice and Snow. Worshipers rush through the Snowy sanctuary. Walls of white engage silent priests.
Stalactites and Stalagmites frozen ring in the frozen choir. Chill winds blow blizzard communion wafer pellets into exposed skin. Muffled voices murmuring against snowy silence. Snowstorm suspends civilization of modern man in its wake.
Father Winter and I are now one. Snow battered bodies blister in ecstasy. Gale force winds whip me Heavenly upwards to behold Glory.
These photos were taken outside my home in Brownsville, Brooklyn. As you can see both my front and back yards are completely blocked by snow drifts. I had to dig a pathway to my front gate so I could get photos of the street. And yes I actually had to climb over 4 foot snow drifts just to get to my front door after getting off the subway. What an adventure!! Snowstorm Jonas is the evil Jonas brother!! LOL!!
