White Guilt? Don’t Care.

A little while ago one of my white female followers felt she had to stick up for the white race by leaving comments about the goodness, kindness and compassion of white people regarding my post about the 100 year anniversary of the Silent March of 1917. She did not leave the offending comments on that specific Blog Post but the following one.

Of course I responded and as she saw that my stance was not changing she seemed to get more and more excited. Like I’m supposed to be grateful for a white person throwing some crumbs to me a strong proud Black Woman.  Keep your crumbs.  If you want a reward you’re not getting one from me.

Her responses became more and more frantic as the discussion went on. Finally she said All Lives Matter. The Call and Cry of American Liberal White folks. Nobody is arguing that all lives matter. We know this. Duh…  However if this were true there would have not been any 1917 Silent March protesting the lynching of Black Americans then or the Black Lives Matter demonstrations more or less protesting the same lynchings now in 2016/7.   Yes All Lives Matter but all lives are not in danger. Nor do all lives have the same risk.

Once she said bullshit she revealed her true nature and her greatest fear. That there are more Black people out there who feel the way I do.  And Yes BTW there are. Also not just Black people but other people of color as well.  You are coming up against a Strong Nation. A Strong People.  People who are Woke.  The New Black Panthers. The New Black Nation is rising up. Stoppable.

News Flash!!

Black People don’t need the approval, validation or acknowledgement of American white people. Stepin Fetchit, Rochester, Uncle Tom, Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben are all Dead. For the most part we don’t do that anymore. As for those of you who don’t know who the aforementioned people were. Google them. Learn some History.

We can spot Bullshit and white people being condescending a mile away

Becky or as we used to call you in my day Ms. Ann. It’s Not about you nor has it ever been or will be. You are not even on the radar.

Now I shall make my Contribution to Black Lives Matter and continue on with my vacation.

Hella Black!  Hella Proud!

Red Nose Movie Weekend

Today’s Funny Story!

Stephen and I went to the 12:10 showing of X-Men Apocalypse at the Jamaica Multiplex theater located in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
We got into the movie for only $20 bucks.
Me as a Senior and Stephen as my child!!
All by showing my AARP card! LOL!!
Let’s see now! Stephen just turned 55 earlier this month and I turned 57 back in February. Hmmm… That means I was two years old when I had my brother!!  Ha!! Ha!!

X-Men Apocalypse Movie Review

This was a great movie. Initially the movie starts out in Egypt and even though you do see some Black or Brown skinned actors playing those roles it would have made me happier to see more people of color especially Black Women.  In 3600 B.C.E. I thought there would have been any white people in Egypt. Directors and Producers need to acknowledge that Egypt is located in and part of Africa and Nubians ruled Ancient Egypt.
The directors take the audience back in time to explain some of the X-Men Mutant origins.  All the cast are newer and younger actors (20 somethings) except Wolverine who is played by the same actor as in the previous movies but only has a small short role in this film.  The movie also tells how the character Storm evolved from a petty thief who was initially on the dark side and how she discovered the truth transferring her allegiance to the good guys.
Without giving any spoilers a Woman mutant defeats the evil being and saves humanity. Excellent story-line and plot.  Plenty of action.

Captain America | Civil War

Yesterday Stephen and I went to see Captain America | Civil War. Another enjoyable action filled movie. Stephen really enjoyed this movie and my personal favorite character is the Black Panther. Love him!! Next year Black Panther is supposed to get his own feature film I would really Love to see his role expanded. In fact I’d Love to see any Black Super Hero Male or Female role’s expanded and pushed to the forefront since one sees very few African or African-American Super-Heroes and even if you do see them they always see to be the loyal buddy or side kick to the white super hero. Time for Super Heroes of African Descent to Rise to the Top where we Belong!!
Stephen and I both highly recommend both movies.

Prompt Stomp ~~ Super Heroes

“…I love dressing up in superhero outfits and in fact, when I dress up as Wonder Woman, I actually think that I’m more powerful…”

—Olivia Munn

Real or made up. A super hero can be anybody. The lady next door who devotes her time to the needy, our soldiers across the seas or like our heroes growing up we can write about Batman or Wonder Woman. A super hero can take many forms. Lets write about them this week!

Every Halloween my brother Stephen and I become Super Heroes. Halloween is my favorite holiday because you can not only dress in costume but it’s okay to walk around the city in that costume with your new though temporary Identity. For a long time I went with a feline theme thus I was Cat Woman channeling Eartha Kitt for several Halloweens.  As you can see I greatly enjoyed my Cat Woman and Tigeress Avatars!  Stephen won Best Costume in 2011 for his Scarecrow Costume!!  in 2013/2014 Stephen was a Sailor aka like the kid on the Cracker Jack box for those of you old enough to remember the caramel popcorn with the toy surprise. Obviously for those of you living on the East Coast of the United States Hurricane Sandy put the kibosh on Halloween that year. Some photos were taken at Stephen’s training center AABR in Jamaica, Queens, New York.

This past summer Stephen with his Group Home residence had visited The New York Renaissance Faire located in Tuxedo, New York. So together we decided on variations of a Renaissance Theme. I re-imagined Diana the Huntress as DeBorah the Huntress, a combination of the Hunger Games and the Goddess Diana. So I become the Goddess DeBorah acting out my incarnation as Huntress Protector of the Forest.  Stephen transformed from a Sailor into the Black Robin Hood! This is what ensued.

The Daily Post’s Writing Prompt: “Tattoo……..You?”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Tattoo….You?.”

Do you have a tattoo? If so, what’s the story behind your ink? If you don’t have a tattoo, what might you consider getting emblazoned on you skin?

Number of Tattoos on my body. Let’s see so far 9 and counting. I plan to get another one soon.  Two devious demented Hello Kitties (One is a Dominatrix), tramp stamp (really hate that name), a dolphin, my Mom’s name Mable on my left arm, a Cross and me and my Dad’s image on my right arm, a Black Panther on my back. After my parents died I wanted to honor them so I got tattoos in their memory. No I’d never tattoo a boyfriend’s name on me because those are temporary relationships.

I plan to get a Semi-colon on my right arm because my story is not yet over.

I really Love Tattoos but I will never tattoo my boobs, hands, neck or face. Why tattoo boobs when in a few years they will be sagging lower than some of these kids pants and as for exposed body parts, well to be honest I need my job and they stipulate that our uniforms must cover all tattoos. I will also NOT autograph the junk in my trunk because that too will also succumb to the ravages of time and gravity.

Piercings are cool as long as don’t have so many that you set off metal detectors from two blocks away! My ears and belly button are done. Thinking of getting a small nose piercing. As for the naughty parts I really don’t see the logic in having non-stop orgasms. I prefer to sing opera with a handsome Chocolate brother in the privacy of the bedroom not 24/7/365!

I will continue to decorate my body temple as long as my skin canvas remains smooth and supple!
