I remember the movie Shaft! I was around 12 when it came out. Richard Roundtree was I believe a model before he became famous portraying John Shaft.

I was in the school marching band, and we played “Shaft.” Outstanding! (We thought we were so cool.) 🙂
I can dig it! Right on!! Now I have the Curtis Mayfield Shaft song rattling around in my head! 🙂 😀
