SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2016 WEEK 26

With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.

What’s your most memorable (good or bad) airplane flight?

Riding in a C 130 and C 140 during my time in the Army. At that time those planes carried Army vehicles as well as troops.

How many bones, if any, have you broken?

None!  Thank God!

If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know)

Harriet Tubman, Zora Neale Hurston, Sojourner Truth.

Make a Currently List: What are you reading, watching, listening to, eating, needing, wanting, and missing right now?

Reading:

A Day Late and a Dollar Short
Novel by Terry McMillan
Eating a turkey bacon and egg with ketchup on a toasted roll.
Need and want more time in Nature. I want to spend more time in New York’s many green spaces which include parks and botanic gardens. Missing my brother Stephen. Also need more days off whether they be personal days, holidays or vacation days.  Still hoping to see the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team in action before the summer ends!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Enjoyed my time at Curlfest yesterday. Positive vibes. Prospect Park is beautiful. Hair Swag!  Click on Link for more details:  https://roamingurbangypsy.com/2016/06/27/curlfest-2016-prospect-park-brooklyn/

I have no plans for next weekend and my cat Sylvester hates the July 4th fireworks.

Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall

Think of your blog as a mirror: what does it reveal? Consider your blog name, theme choice, design, bio, posts… what does every element tell you about yourself?

My Blog Name: Espiritu en Fuego ~~  A Fiery Spirit |  That’s me! My spirit is on fire. On fire for writing, photography and the greatest and best part of me, my brother Stephen Vincent Palmer.  I do have a photography blog Roaming Urban Gypsy.

http://roamingurbangypsy.com/

In order of importance:

  1. Stephen Vincent Palmer
  2. Writing
  3. Photography

Everything and everybody falls behind Stephen. He always comes first.  Happiness for me = Stephen.  He is my whole world. Everything I do is for him. I could be more self-center or selfish. But I choose not too. I ignore those who judge me. They don’t know my story. They neither know nor understanding my suffering. I choose to share nothing with them. In fact I stopped listening to what the haters say long ago. I owe others no explanations or answers. I know God’s plan and purpose for my life is to make Stephen’s Life as happy and joyful as possible.

Young At Heart ~~ The Daily Post

Young At Heart

What are your thoughts on aging? How will you stay young at heart as you get older?

Before I answer the question first I wanted to share this New York Times article on elders views of aging.

The Wisdom of the Aged

For six New Yorkers age 85 and older, whose
lives were followed throughout the year, old
age is a mixture of happiness and sadness,
with less time wasted on anger and worry.
