Grounding with Gaia

Today’s Forgiving Fridays: Wow A Big Decision!

Fortunately I have access to the backyard so I did a grounding ritual. Really informal. Basically I just sat down in one of the chairs, put on some easy breezy music, took off my sandals and connected directly to Mother Earth. Gaia has healing properties so walking barefoot in the grass or placing your chair in a sunny grassy area and planting your bare feet to the earth helps stabilize you. The temps hit the 90s but the backyard is cooler thanks to the trees. My trusty bottled water is always by my side. Staying hydrated is essential. Sitting Sun Salutations are Fabulous!

I also conditioned my hair at the same time. I applied the Red Palm Oil pictured below onto my hair and sat out in the Sun for a little over an hour. Red Palm Oil has an earthy woodsy, roasted, smokey, nutty scent. Know that Red Palm Oil stains so when you do your Red Oil Hair Conditioning and Facial a little goes a long way. It stains. I wash out the Red Palm Oil in the kitchen sink which is stainless steel. So unless you want your clothing, floors and bathroom basin to be a orangery red color have lots of towels and wash clothes on hand.

Being that it was over 90 degrees outside these are optimal conditions for the Red Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter to penetrate, soften and moisturize my hair and scalp producing excellent and wonderful results. Since it was so hot outside I wound up taking at least four or five showers. Refreshing! Pampering myself is a good thing.

Purchased Sage from the Botanica. Then burnt the sage going from the upper to the lower floors and out the door to purify and cleanse the house removing negative energies.

I fell asleep in your arms forever and together we lapsed into eternity like babes in the woods. Forest green was our cradle and verdant moss bedecked a flower strewn winding sheet blazed upon by sun and cooled in moonlit nights. Gaia received us without judgment or blame thanking us for nourishing seedling eons. Gentle boughs bent down to caress our sunken cheeks. Roots plowed up the earth making sure we were firmly planted to her suckled breast.

Regeneration

Winter’s harsh breath exhales into the frosty snowy past. Icy Hoarfrost gives way to billowing branches blooming with expectant buds. Whispers of newness of Life encompass Mother Earth urging upwards bursting seeds taking root sending forth shoots of glorious colored petals over willowy leafy verdant pastures beckoning formerly winter bound spirits to break forth into joyous song.

The Voice of Springtime is now heard in the land. I hear the gurgling of the babbling brook and feel a gentle breeze upon my face. Arboreal splendor dances in celebration of incoming upcoming vim, vigor and vitality. Vivaciously laughing at Jack Frost’s feeble attempts to reclaim yearning terrain. Cheerful, Joyful Persephone skips, leaps and jumps into her Mother Demeter eager arms.

She put her hand to the Stone and a million millennia of memories coursed through her soul and out from her pores.

She put her hand to every boulder and heard the rocks cry out their praise to Our Creator.

She put her hand to the magnificent Oak Tree and received the voices of streams, rivers, oceans, lakes and streams.

She put her hand inside Gaia Mother Earth and heard the calls of sacrifices, bog dwellers, cave peoples, the cries of those murdered all crying out for justice.

She extended her hands within the forest absorbed the singings of creatures past and present reverberating within her spirit. Her fingers touched the voices of cave dwellers imbuing their drawings with Life. And in the fullness of time vibrations echoed through the eons.

She put her hand upon the Rock of Ages and they extended their hands inside her inner being enveloping her with knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
