Comments Policy

This is a direct response to a nasty comment made on one of my previous posts. I am not a nice person when somebody says or writes the wrong things so things are about to get ugly. Real Ugly!!  You May STOP Reading Now.

As Creator and Moderator of this blog I reserve the right to call out any stupid, racist, sexist, dumb ass or ageist comments.  I recently ReBlogged a post about an All Black Cowgirls Team. Anyone who has an ounce of good sense and a knowledge of racist American History should know why Black people in this country need and must have All Black Teams, Events, Organizations, Groups etc….. There has rarely been and given the upcoming administration will be any societies, organizations, groups, etc… where Blacks are or will be seen as equals. We’ve been having this battle for 400 years and even through the eight years of the Obama administration you see how a racist bigoted Congress and Senate did their level best to obstruct any forward positive moves that President Obama tried to make during his administration.

Actually since things are going backwards in the USA for people of Color it behooves us to band together and do for self because the government is about to pull the rug out from under us regarding any benefits, services or programs designed to benefit all American Citizens. Even though we have worked just as hard if not harder and without pay for the most part to build this country up.

To All My Black People for Christmas and Kwanzaa please do your best to Buy Black.

I am proud of being a Black Woman and as for anyone who does not like it or disagrees with me promoting and uplifting my own people I got two words for you. FUCK OFF!!

Now getting back to ignorant racist comments like the one Mr. GP Cox put on my Black Cowgirls post. Is this guy for real?  IS TODAY DUMB MUTHA FUCKER DAY?!

I used to ride horses and i admire this group, but i don’t understand why they feel they need to be an all-Black team. Are there teams called the all-white cowgirls?

Did he really ask such a stupid ass question to me as a Black Woman in this hateful country where I have been physically just because I am Black and a Woman?  Where my father who served this country during the Korean War was denied service in a restaurant in Washington, DC while in uniform?  Does he not understand that the reason why my Great, Great Grandfather served in the 29th Colored Regiment. The reason there the Tuskegee Airmen existed!!

Where every positive deed and action has been negated by the greater white population since 1492. Are you kidding me. Give me a fucking break!!

I wonder what white bread universe Mr. Cox is living in?  Is he out of his fucking mind? No. Now let me think. Oh yes he must live in white bread New Burbia where folks who  look like me are servants, maids, butlers, etc….  You know that America that Mr. Dhrump is about to return us to. The fabulous 40s, 50s & 60s where attack dogs were set upon us. Where we were hosed down in the streets with fire hoses and where we are systemically shot by the KKK racist bigoted police while our hands are up in surrender.

When I read comments like this I know in my heart and mind that this country will never be united as one.  This unity business is all a lot of trash talk and bullshit because at 11:00 am today Sunday morning white people will go to their churches and Black folks will go to ours.

In the meantime Mr. GP Cox I will give you this opportunity to unsubscribe and UnFollow all my blogs now!

As for anyone else who hates Blacks, Native Americans, Hispanics, Asians, other peoples of Color,  the disabled, the LGBT Community LEAVE NOW!!

ALL YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED, TRASHED AND PUT INTO SPAM!! TAKE YOUR NASTY ATTITUDE SOMEWHERE ELSE.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

COMMENTS HAVE BEEN CLOSED BUT IF I SEE YOU POSTING OR COMMENTING ON ANOTHER ONE OF MY BLOGS I SWEAR YOU’D BETTER BE READY TO BRING IT BECAUSE I AM!!

Red Nose Movie Weekend

Today’s Funny Story!

Stephen and I went to the 12:10 showing of X-Men Apocalypse at the Jamaica Multiplex theater located in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
We got into the movie for only $20 bucks.
Me as a Senior and Stephen as my child!!
All by showing my AARP card! LOL!!
Let’s see now! Stephen just turned 55 earlier this month and I turned 57 back in February. Hmmm… That means I was two years old when I had my brother!!  Ha!! Ha!!

X-Men Apocalypse Movie Review

This was a great movie. Initially the movie starts out in Egypt and even though you do see some Black or Brown skinned actors playing those roles it would have made me happier to see more people of color especially Black Women.  In 3600 B.C.E. I thought there would have been any white people in Egypt. Directors and Producers need to acknowledge that Egypt is located in and part of Africa and Nubians ruled Ancient Egypt.
The directors take the audience back in time to explain some of the X-Men Mutant origins.  All the cast are newer and younger actors (20 somethings) except Wolverine who is played by the same actor as in the previous movies but only has a small short role in this film.  The movie also tells how the character Storm evolved from a petty thief who was initially on the dark side and how she discovered the truth transferring her allegiance to the good guys.
Without giving any spoilers a Woman mutant defeats the evil being and saves humanity. Excellent story-line and plot.  Plenty of action.

Captain America | Civil War

Yesterday Stephen and I went to see Captain America | Civil War. Another enjoyable action filled movie. Stephen really enjoyed this movie and my personal favorite character is the Black Panther. Love him!! Next year Black Panther is supposed to get his own feature film I would really Love to see his role expanded. In fact I’d Love to see any Black Super Hero Male or Female role’s expanded and pushed to the forefront since one sees very few African or African-American Super-Heroes and even if you do see them they always see to be the loyal buddy or side kick to the white super hero. Time for Super Heroes of African Descent to Rise to the Top where we Belong!!
Stephen and I both highly recommend both movies.

Do For Self!!

For the last few days my arthritis has been kicking up and my ankles are a little swollen.

Am I taking this lying down? No!! Well some rest but I’m taking abbreviated Soulful Struts and I’ve also purchased Turmeric, MSM, Biotin and Moringa Living Bitters which brings me to my next topic.

The Turmeric I got on Amazon which is convenient during the cold months when I do not want to go traipsing about freezing New York City searching for various vitamins and food supplements.

The MSM and Biotin I got from GNC around 84th Street and Lexington. I find their staff to be indifferent and somewhat rude so I will be patronizing my own people. Bottles of vitamins and other products blocked the cash register. The two clerks spent a lot of time gossiping and were not helpful.

The Moringa Living Bitters I purchased from Zam Zam an African store located along Fulton Street near Franklin Avenue. Moringa Living Bitters is a Detox and Energy Beverage which is all Natural and Organic. Taste terrible but so did the Cod Liver Oil Beef Iron wine my Dad used to make us take as children.

The young man in the store was professional, knowledgeable and polite. The store was neatly arranged, clean and smelled great!! Zam Zam offers an excellent wide selection of African products for reasonable prices. Health and Beauty, Cosmetics, Holistic supplements. Everything.

Moral of the Story for peoples of African Descent. Buy Black!! Don’t just complain about the disrespect we regularly get from certain other stores owned by other races. Let’s Move our dollars to our Black Owned stores circulating dollars within our community thus building up the race without having to rely on anyone else but ourselves!! Let us form Alliances with Africa and African merchants in order to better our situation!!

DO FOR SELF!! BUY BLACK!!!

Misplaced

Misplaced. Lost but not forgotten. Every day they look for me.  Divine Mother scours the land searching for her lost children. Crying because they are naught. Then once again she comes to the Island from whence the vessels filled with pale strangers cruelly kidnapped her young.  Weeping. Wailing. Shrieking. Her gown is rent in two.

Taken

Then Divine Mother casts her gaze towards the wide waters. She hears the voices of her children calling her. Some from beneath the deep oceans. Others from strange lands.

She shall gather her children from distant shores and Ethiopia shall rise again.

There was a Gathering of Old Bones. Shall these dry bones live? Yes by Grace and Mercy.

Lost Tribes took in Lost Villages. Red and Black became one flesh. Pursued. Persecuted. Sometimes erased from this land only to resurface in another for in My Father’s House are many Mansions. Father God and Divine Mother call me forth to a plane of existence that the enemy can in no wise enter in.

Scented Sands. Gathered Aromas.

A Portly Golden Breeze scatters cosmic seeds into the oceans breath. Rescue my stolen children from alien Atlantic and Pacific waters.  Yoruba and Jesus Dance together. The Goddess bestows her ritual Female powers. I am renewed. Orishas wash my soul.

Afroid Dreams of Salvation

We speak the language of old royal robes, the talking drums, painted faces, warrior chants…….

The Caramel, Sienna, Midnight Prodigal Daughter returns home. Indigo children reside on Astral planes, valleys, visions, 4th dimensional planets, solar systems, galaxies known only to the Enlightened Ancients.

The Misplaced Children of Africa have returned home. Lost no more. Egypt. Ethiopia. Ghana. Kenya. Nigeria. Mozambique. Togo. Mali. Namibia. Botswana. South Africa. All Nubian Kingdoms claim your Peoples from throughout the Diaspora. Baptize me in the Nile. Black Mother Moses I am Yours.

Thus says the LORD: “Keep your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for there is a reward for your work, declares the LORD, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. Jeremiah 31:16

“A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” Matthew 2:18

The Daily Post ~~ Seat Guru

https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/seat-guru/

Seat Guru

You get to plan a dinner party for 4-8 of your favorite writers/artists/musicians/other notable figures, whether dead or alive. Who do you seat next to whom in order to inspire the most fun evening?

I’d seat these Black Literary, Harlem Renaissance, Educators, Social, Political and Cultural Leaders in a semi-circle horseshoe fashion. That way they would be able to see, hear, discuss and listen to each other’s outlook on the state of the African diaspora in general and the state of Black America specifically.

I’d make liberal use of today’s innovative technology enabling this discussion to be broadcast worldwide.

Given their diverse lifestyles, experiences, and viewpoints we would be like sponges absorbing wisdom, knowledge and understanding I know the resulting dialogue and debate would be scintillating!

Thoughts on the Craziness and Greed of Black Friday

BUY BLACK FRIDAY!!!! Stephen went with me on today’s Soulful Strut. Usually his residence over packs with too much clothing however this time they under packed requiring me to buy him extra clothes. Ever determined to support Black merchants, store-owners and entrepreneurs I was able to buy Stephen some much needed items from Black-owned stores located on Fulton Street and Marcus Garvey. My African people Please patronize these stores so that all Peoples of African descent can better our economic development in America. We Must Support Our Own People. Every other ethnic group does this and that allows them to rise financially as the dollars circulate within our community and our neighborhoods are improved. Thank you!

Yes most of us are all shopping for our respective Holidays, Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa but make buying easy on yourself. Why not make Black Friday, Cyber Friday and extend to Cyber Monday. Avoid the crowds and the hassles plus still get the deals. Since most folks have PCs, Laptops and/or Tablets you can buy gifts in the comfort of your home without fighting the greedy hordes.  Just Saying……….

Black Friday = Broke Friday. If you must make purchases today please support your local small businesses and merchants.

My Sisters and Brothers of African descent BUY BLACK!!

So we can either #BoycottBlackFriday or make it work for us and #BuyBlack
