What’s your favorite ice-cream flavor?

I’m Lactose Intolerant so I cannot eat ice cream any more but when I was young and healthy I Loved Chocolate Ice Cream.

If you were to treat yourself to the “finer things” what would you treat yourself to?

A Visit to Saratoga Springs to “Take the Waters.”  Soaking in these healing mineral waters is supposed to help arthritis. My joints pain me constantly so I would Love to spend time at Saratoga Springs for my Birthday in Feb. 2017.  Due to finances I have not had a real vacation in years. Of course this Saratoga Springs fantasy vacation won’t happen as I cannot afford to travel or spend my small salary on hotels but I can dream. Who knows maybe I’ll receive a Miracle Vacation Trip to Saratoga Springs for my Birthday!! LOL!!  🙂  😀

Have you ever been drunk?

Yes. Back in my Army days. However after a really bad experience with Southern Comfort which resulted in my room-mates stripping me naked, marching me down the barracks hallway and throwing me into a cold shower I’ve only gotten buzzed but never falling down drunk ever again. My saving grace of that incident is that there were no computers, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram or any other type of social media in the late 1970s!!

Complete this sentence: My favorite supposedly guilty pleasure is…

Sleep. I’m always tired. Exhausted.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Grateful I was able to spend time with my brother Stephen. Also grateful that the holidays are over so I can be Free from Tension and Anxiety.  I’m not looking forward to anything for the upcoming week. Basically I’m doing the same thing I did in 2016 Going to Work and as I work on Holidays I will be at work tomorrow.  What’s the expression; “Different Day. Same shit.”  There is nothing special or significant about 2017. It’s just an extension of 2016.

There is a meeting with the manager and Director of Stephen’s Group Home coming up on Friday, Jan. 6th but I’m not looking forward to that as once again I’m trying to fix ongoing problems with this particular manager who is incompetent.  This will not be a happy nor successful meeting as the woman and I don’t get along and I’ve made numerous complaints against her. I don’t expect any solutions to come from us having a sit-down as I don’t intend to compromise when it comes to Stephen’s care.

What do you value most in a friendship?

Here goes Y’All!! You knew this was coming!!

Billy Joel – Honesty

Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake or the cupcake first?  Do you prefer a specific flavor?

Chocolate cupcakes minus the frosting. I loathe frosting! Ugh! Way too sweet! Like eating a mouthful of flavored sugar! Yuck! Besides the fact that I’m pre-diabetic I should not be eating any type of sweets especially cupcakes or regular cakes. However sometimes for special occasions I do indulge.

Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?

No. Not sure. Hmmm…. Enclosed space that you can’t open the door and get out of??? I cannot swim. Maybe not… I could see myself suffocating then drowning….  No thanks!!

I have been inside a C-130 but then again I was only 18 or 19 an adventurous private in the Army. My last post before I ETS’d was the 101st Airborne Div. Ft. Campbell, KY but I was Chairborne not Airborne!! I was a 75 Delta which was at that time called a Personnel Records Specialist. I’m sure computers do that type of work now.

I’ve also been in an Army Helicopter which turned out to be a hair raising experience when the pilot decided he was gonna see how close he could come to the German mountains without crashing into one!! I threw up!!

C130 Rolling Down The Strip – Military Running Cadence

No. I cannot run anymore. Age has caught up with me but I could easily run over 8 miles a day back then!!

If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?

Maybe 50 of them since my life is pretty boring. You would have to define Satisfying. Everyone would have their own definition of Satisfy. At this point I’m content but my life could be better.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

A good start with my new work position. As for next week nothing specific. I don’t really celebrate Christmas but I need to pick up a few more gifts for Stephen. We will spend Dec. 22nd to Dec. 24th together because I must work Christmas Day. The good part is that it’s extra pay for Christmas Day. Easy money.

Are you a traveler or a homebody?

Homebody. The furthest I’ve traveled in the last eight 8 years is New Jersey, Washington, DC and Connecticut!

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.

Hmmm….. Now I don’t have a TV but perhaps I could make a commercial showing how we are more alike than different. Something to promote LTD, Love Togetherness and Devotion. It would feature myself and my brother Stephen an Awesome Autism Guy who is the most Loving and Caring person I know.

My first Autism Fundraising Video Efforts.

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

Devoted. Devoted to my brother Stephen.

List some fun things for a rainy day.

Sleeping. Eating. If Stephen his here with me doing some art projects, i.e. collages. Listening to music. Working on my blogs.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Grateful that I survived our devastating and disappointing election. Seeking ways that I can promote peace plus helping those who are disadvantaged like the Autism Community. It is not enough to complain about D.T. but we have to do things that will help those who are disenfranchised.  Stop Complaining!! Start using your Blogs in ways that will help those in need!

In that effort I’m encouraging everyone to make donations to Queens Centers for Progress and AABR whose programs and services have changed my brother Stephen’s life and many other developmentally disabled adults lives for the better.

Remember even if you don’t have money you can donate time via volunteering, cars, art supplies, etc………

I’m Looking forward to raising as much money as possible for both AABR and QCP. Please share this with all your Networks and encourage folks to donate.  Thank you and God Bless!!

PLEASE HELP!!!
