Gratitude and Thankfulness

I’m so Grateful and Thankful for the Following:

Spring has finally come to New York City this week.  The temps are hovering from the upper 60s to the upper 70 degree range.

My itchy scratchy skin rash is gone!! Hallelujah!!

My brother Stephen’s eye infection healed and he went back to program last Monday.

Always Thankful for my brother Stephen who is the Most Awesome Amazing Autism Guy in the World!!

My cat Sylvester.

For the Daily Press which is a Coffee Bar that opened up end of Feb/early March. They have a friendly staff and their Mint Tea is delicious as are their blueberry muffins and chocolate croissants!!

For the Friendly Staff at the Reviv Wellness clinic when I get my B 12 and CoQ10 Vitamin shots.

Both the staff at the Daily Press and Reviv Wellness Clinic always ask about my brother Stephen even though they have only met him once. Always happy to find Autism Friendly places. Of course Stephen has such a Winning Personality what’s not to Like?!! ❤

Especially Thankful and Grateful for being able to attend Palm Sunday Worship Service. Not only did I enjoy myself, I took notes and came away inspired and uplifted.

Giving Thanks to God for my Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim Sister-Friends who have stuck with me through thick and thin. God’s Love Manifests itself in all faiths and belief systems.  I am grateful for these Wonderful Women and the opportunity to see God in others.

Sending my prayers and condolences to my Coptic Sisters and Brothers in Egypt who died or were injured this past Palm Sunday. Some of my co-workers are Egyptians of the Coptic faith. Keep in mind that the terrorist extremist evil-doers who committed this terrible sin DO NOT represent Islam no more than the KKK or the American Nazi Party represents Christianity.

The Nubian Ninja reviews Gods of Egypt

Major WTF Moment. How in the hell do you make a film about Egypt and all the leading characters are British white people, except a token Negro God Thoth the God of Wisdom. Oh yes as always the few Blacks in the movie are in supporting roles.

Egypt is in Africa therefore Egyptians are Africans. Yes I do realize that many Egyptians are Arabs but in no case are they white. There are many Egyptians working at the museum and none of them have white skin, blue eyes or blond hair! Working at a museum which has an Egyptian Wing which I have been posted in or passed through on many occasions. I look at the sculptures and the canopic jars and see African features. In fact I see my face on many of the women artifacts. Yes I do know that gradually Ancient Egypt was invaded by many cultures resulting in mummy sarcophagus with Greek and/or Macedonian features but that was towards the end. The original Egyptians were Nubians!!

Hollywood what, why or how in the fuck would Egyptian gods have British accents. If you did have to pick British actors you mean to tell me you could only find one person of color to portray the many Egyptian gods. Is England, Egypt or America running out of Black or Brown people? Would you pick a Black actress to portray Boudica? Fuck No! Why? Because Queen Boudica was of British Celtic origins.

My Black & Brown Peoples! Hollywood is never going to portray Blacks accurately in movies. It’s time to rise up, make our own movies much like Indian folks have Bollywood, and support Black Directors, Producers and Film-makers otherwise this Bullshit will keep happening.

I do give the movie 3 stars for action but that’s about it. Peace out!

Queens Look into the past and See the Future

Queen Tiye
Queen Tiye

She is me and I am she. My African and Native American Ancestors and I are one. We are One in the Beloved through time, space and eternity. I am the present conduit through which they speak.

I am the Holy Beloved Blessed Scribe commissioned to tell their tales. I am Queen Tiye daughter of Yuya and Tjuyu, Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian pharaoh Amenhotep III, Mother of Akhenaten and Grandmother of Tutankhamun.  I am Hatsheput and Nzingha.  Nubia and North America are my birthplaces.   Ancient Sabaeans and Modern Yemenis are my descendants.  Know that Ethiopia the New Jerusalem shall Rise Again!  Temples and Churches carved into mountainsides will never fall.

We are the Lost Tribes of Israel and Africa. My lineage stretches across the destinies of continents.

The fluttering’s within led us to know that………….
No Womb Child of Ours would serve foreign masters in a strange land.
Now we Two Lovers are sealed in an Eternal Embrace wrapped around Eons.
Our sacred bones have become Undersea chapels where Ocean denizens worship daily.

They swim through our frameworks paying homage via weaving seaweed, decorating our frames with diatoms and Ocean sea grasses as adornments for our Holy Cathedrals.

Phytoplankton, kelp and algae melodically bow in reverence and awe to displaced ancestors who chose to answer that yearning for the Motherland by throwing off heavy corporal prisons and keepers that sought to bind them to an unfamiliar future in the bosom of a generation who had forsaken the Creator.

Releasing our souls to the Originator we whisked through the briny deep where our son Menelik was reborn as Ethiopian Royalty.

For we knew that the People could Fly……. the Twin Queens of Ethiopia and Egypt shall rise again to Reign once more.
