Good Times

Imagine that tomorrow, all of your duties and obligations evaporate for the day. You get the day all to yourself, to do anything you please. What types of fun activities would make your day?

If I had a Free day all to myself I’d spend it at as many New York museums as possible such as the Brooklyn museum or South Street Seaport. As my loyal readers already know I’m having a love affair with the Brooklyn museum. The exhibits are excellent. Going there is an experience I want to repeat constantly.  Yes it would be a museum day all day.

The last time I was at the South Street Seaport my brother Stephen and I had a great time exploring. Since it was early May 2012  the weather was overcast and dreary but we had a great time.  The Museums located in this are specialize in nautical fare and are fascinating and well worth repeat visits.  The year 2012 marked the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and there was a special exhibit dedicated to this anniversary. They had many mementos about the White Star Line and reproductions of costumes and clothing worn during that time period.

Foodie

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Red Pill, Blue Pill.”

No. I would never substitute a pill for food!  Even if it had all the nutritional value and daily requirements. I really enjoy the flavor and texture of real food, especially home cooked meals.

And who knows the real deal about those all inclusive food pills?

Could be soylent green! Charlton Heston fans will get this film reference!
