The students have vowed to carry their teacher who uses a wheelchair. Kids should not be forced into making these decisions.

These kids have Love for their teacher.

      1. I agree DeBorah, but kids seem to be making excellent decisions at the moment compared to many adults. It they can force the issue on gun restrictions with the threat of losing votes they may just drag a lot of adults with them who’ve not been able to do anything so far. I noted today that even a large number of Republicans are in favour of gun control, maybe they’ll be able to force their politicians to remember who is paying them and who they owe allegience to and I don’t mean the NRA.

      2. I’ll believe it when I see it. In America money talks and everything else walks. Mass murders are an everyday occurrence in the USA. Most just don’t get reported. I doubt very much if anything will change.

      3. I must admit that the story left me in tears. Crying because the children love their teacher so much that they would protect her. Crying because the American government does not care. Those kids have big hearts.

    1. Such a beautiful story. Such bravery, courage and Love for their teacher. Was crying tears of joy tinged with sadness because the kids have more sense, kindness and compassion than our Congress and Senate!

  1. Damn…I read the whole story and she’s right, kids shouldn’t have to think about how to survive a day at school. This generation has suffered a lot but it’s brought out the best in them. Like a war. But do we really believe killing off our kids is the only way to bring out their best? So wrong.

    1. Thanks. Yes I agree with you. It’s a shame that kids can’t be safe in school. It’s really sad that things have gotten to the point where you don’t know if some nut with a gun will blow you away. When I was growing up in 1960s and 1970s going to school these things never occurred to me. This generation has so much more to deal with.
The article touched my heart and soul. The love the kids have for their teacher. If only the United States government would listen to the kids and adults who are crying out for a ban on assault weapons. America needs to wake up.

      1. I agree. I get a huge lump in my throat every time I see one of those kids demanding justice. I truly hope they are the generation that finally shakes the system up, for the better.
