  1. I visited an exhibition some years ago in Zürich, Switzerland. I still have the catalog. I very much like the desert paintings. Our niece took us on the museum tour as she is an art specialist and pointed out how the artist often extended the painting into the surrounding frame.

    1. I’ve had the opportunity to see many of her paintings at my museum workplace.
However the exhibit at the Brooklyn museum is more about her lifestyle. The exhibits feature many photos of Georgia O’Keefe, her clothes, shoes and interview videos from her lifetime.
Georgia O’Keefe was an amazing woman and an incredible artist. She lived to be 99 years old and had a productive and fruitful life. I will try to attend the exhibit again before it ends.

    1. Yes she was an Outstanding and exceptional woman and artist. I learned a lot about her lifestyle and the way she carried herself.
Once this crazy snow and ice weather lets up I hope to return to view this exhibit for a third time!! Truly she is one of my favorite artists. I think that she is a great choice for Women’s History Month.

    1. 🙂 Yes Georgia O’Keefe is famous for her flower paintings. This exhibit featured little of her artwork and was mostly about her lifestyle. Still it is an excellent exhibit and great tribute to a great woman.
