    1. My country is going backwards in time. I will now stay home more often only going out to work and for errands. I do have to travel for Thanksgiving at the end of this month so I hope my brother Stephen and I will be safe.

  2. I have heard some very disturbing things that have happened to friend of my son in your city, DeBorah. But I hate that it would make you feel fearful to go out as you always have. Love is the antidote to fear…we have to band together in love. ♡

    1. Just spoke to my New Jersey cousin so tomorrow I’m going to the Port Authority and purchase the bus tickets for Stephen and I. I’m still scared but hopefully all will go well and we will get there safely and return safely.

      2. Having been physically attacked in the past it’s difficult to remain positive. I can still hear and see the guy coming at me and feel myself pinned against the wall by his bulk. I relive that in my mind. That’s something you never get over. I’m lucky to be alive.

      5. I’ve been there, DeBorah! And I believe that some knowingly behave badly. But I also think that some react from a place of pain that they don’t know how to deal with. I’d hate to see you “leave” completely…but I get the allure. I think it helped me to not have expectations of how others should “be” and just allow them to be who they are…then we can make decisions about whether we allow them “in” or not.

      7. I promise to be peaceful as long as I’m not attacked. If I must defend myself I will. That’s why I do my best to keep my distance from people. Cats and dogs have more sense than humans.

    Ever since the Trevor Martin murder
    I’ve had about three instances when people
    Have tried to come at me
    Yes, I’m not a violent person or aggressive
    But I had to step into them so that they
    Would keep their distance
    It’s not a race problem
    It’s a people problem
    The rules got thrown out
    Long ago,period don’t blame
    One person,blame them all
    people’s attitude started
    shifting when words were
    replaced irrational behavior
    It’s sad very very sad
