Do you believe in love at first sight?

Your first car?

1985 Chevy Cavalier

Who taught you to ride a bike? How did it go?

My parents. Can’t remember whether it was my Mom or Dad. Probably both. As long as the training wheels were on I was fine. The real challenge came when Daddy took the training wheels off. Lots of falling down and crashing into trees. At one point after running smack into a tree I came inside the house crying to my Mother. She made me go back outside, get back on the bike and told me told come back in the house until I learned to ride. Needless to say I learned Right, Quick & in a hurry!!

Ugly and rich or beautiful and poor?

Neither.  I don’t like those choices. I’d rather be beautiful and rich. However if forced to choose beautiful and poor because you can always work your way up the ladder. Maybe I’d meet the hidden Prince Charming!! Ha!!  LOL!!  🙂   😀

What was the first dish you could cook?

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese!  Fortunately once I moved into my own apartment when I was in my 30s I had to learn to cook more than just box Mac & Cheese!!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Glad to have made it through a rough week. Looking forward to the weekend!!

  1. I love the car that your Dad is standing next to! Always had a soft spot in my hear for vintage vehicles…they had so much style and class.

The first ones that I learned to drive in were a 1989 station wagon (don’t recall the make or model), a 1983 Chevy Luv, and a 1959 Dodge 1-ton pickup-truck, respectively! Auto or stick, I can drive it!

    1. That photo of my Dad and his car is from the early 50s way before he met my Mom. To paraphrase him I was just a gleam in his eye! LOL!! The first car I remember from my childhood was Dad’s Chevy Malibu with the fins/wing tips whatever….LOL!! Somewhere in the 1960s. Of course my Dad learned to drive stick shift then went to automatic. I only learned to drive automatic. With my vision problems I let the buses, subways and rails do all my driving now. If I were to get behind the wheel it would be like Mr. Magoo driving!! 😀 🙂 LOL!!

      1. LMAO – too true! Never figured out why Mr. Coyote kept using a company that sent him obviously flawed products…guess he wasn’t as much of a “super-genius” as he claimed, eh?

      2. Now we got them!! Now I do wish I had the Super Power to make Sylvester grow from a humble house cat into a ravenous panther or tiger and rip some of the morons/idiots/fools I encountered at work, on the subway and bus to shreds!! RawRRRR!!!!

  2. It was very nice going through your answers!!☺ I still don’t know how to ride a bike…..hopefully someday ☺ And that’s a beautiful picture of your dad!! Wishing you all the best😊
