A piece of clothing from your younger childhood you still remember?

Tie Dye Shirts, Bell Bottoms, Marshmallow shoes, Earth Shoes, etc…  I don’t have any photos of those days but I surely do remember what I wore.

Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could be an athlete what would do do?   Remember this is SYW, dreaming is always allowed.

Runner Running.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

Passenger. Putting me in the Drivers seat would be like Stevie Wonder or Mr. Magoo driving a car. Dangerous for everyone in the vehicle and those poor folks on the road.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

This past week was terrible.  Not much to smile about. In fact I’ve been close to tears most of the time. I’ve even lost my appetite. I can’t discuss what is going on but unfortunately I will be in this nightmare for a while.  No relief in sight.

The only good thing that happened was meeting another furry feline friend Patrick aka Pat the Garden Cat.  Pat is a girl. Why my housemate named her Patrick I don’t know. Pat is just one of many neighborhood cats but she is very friendly. Of course I must mention my long time companion 13 year old Feline Friend Sylvester.

If you were to pack a basket for picnic lunch, what would be in your basket?

Fruit, Salad, Cheese, small sandwiches, water

On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?

That it be clean with freshly laundered sheets and blankets. Well kept. Air conditioning

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?

That everything be on one level. Stairs/steps are no longer my friends. I don’t want to do any type of climbing.

I would really Love to have my own art studio in order to have more space in which to create. The paintings are beginning to pile up around the house! LOL!!

Art Studio Wish List

I would Love for the studio to be located in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens, Near transportation, ie the Subway.   That it be Large, airy, filled with Natural Sunlight; on the ground level for easy access; along with adjacent spacious Living quarters for myself and for Stephen’s visits.  That way both Stephen and I could explore our artistic gifts and talents.

I would welcome having my own art studio/living space.  This would be a Dream come true!  So fantastic and fabulous!

Last week at work was horrible with more of the same to come. It won’t get better. So here is the expression that comes to mind.

It hurts too much to laugh but I’m too old to cry.

I found this reality check on one of my Instagram buddies posts.  This acronym expresses what is truly going on inside my mind.  So many people lie and project falsehoods  I don’t. Complete and total Honesty.  No fake painted on kewpie/Barbie doll smiles.  That’s Bullshit.

What you see is what you get.  If you can’t accept me as I truly am then you are not my friend.  I don’t do those stupid phony Memes/Affirmations that I see all over social media. I believe in “Keeping it Real.”

Daily Workplace Nightmares

This is me to a T and this is what I really mean when I say I’m FINE.  I operate a “No Bullshit Zone.”

F ~~ Freaked Out also totally Frazzled

I ~~ Insecure

N ~~ Nervous

E ~~ Emotional

What household chore do you absolutely enjoy doing? (can be indoor or outdoor)

None. By definition of the word chore that’s an obligation not something you want to do. The only thing that might come close in my case is washing dishes.

Create a sentence with the words “neon green” and train”.

Thomas the Tank Engine normally a happy train ingested the wrong fuel causing him to turn Neon Green.

Other than your cell phone what can you always be found with?

A notebook. As a writer I carry a notebook with me everywhere so when inspiration strikes I can write it down quickly.

Complete this sentence: This sandwich could really use some …

Honey Mustard

What is your least favorite candy?

I’m trying to stay away from candy. When I was a kid I ate candy every chance I got. Now that I’m older I need to watch my sugar numbers so I try to avoid candy.

What sign are you? Do you believe in astrology?

Pisces.  Some aspects of astrology for Pisces do describe me but I can’t say that I believe in it. I used to read the Astrology predictions in the newspapers but they were usually wrong. Centering around husband or kids and I’m not married nor do I have children. Of course the stuff in the newspaper is so general. However I would never have my chart done.  God is in control of my life. I leave all up to the Lord.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Disney quote

If you were given $22 million tax free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do? (This is just a dream question, remember anything can happen in SYW.)

Finally get a place of my own. A small one story house (No stairs) with a front and back yards.  And at least 3 Full Bathrooms!  In My Dream House I would have my Own Large roomy art/writing studio.  My art studio would be big enough for me to have my own personal Art Show! I would also adopt more cats and dogs.

Stephen and I plus a care giver/helper would take a month long vacation to the Caribbean!  In fact I would move out of New York during the winter months to Florida, Hawaii or California as my body cannot handle Cold freezing NY winters.

Also I’d have my own personal Limo Drivers since I cannot drive and if I were to move to a more rural location with no transportation that would be the only way for me to get around.

In what do you find the simplest of joys?

Spending time with my brother Stephen and being outdoors during warm weather in Nature.

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

Since I was born in February when it is freezing cold in New York if somebody would give me a month long or even two weeks in Hawaii that would be a Blessing!  Folks My 60th Birthday is coming up February 2019 so Feel Free to purchase a round trip ticket for me!  Thanks in Advance!!

Do you use paper money? If so is your money organized sequentially according to denomination?

Yes. I live in a poor working class neighborhood where many of the stores don’t take cards, credit or debit.  Even the Metro Card machines where you purchase your Metro Card to ride the bus/subway sometimes don’t take cards. Cash rules.  Therefore I always have paper money but not organized.

Are You comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?

This is my retirement Theme Song because by the time I’m 60 which is next year I will be retired!!  I believe the song answers the question.  Doing nothing will be my new way of life!!  I’ve been working since 1976 so it’s about time to do nothing or anything I want to do!

What is your greatest strength?

Toughness and endurance.

The Cherry Blossoms

My Latest Most Recent Painting.  It does not yet have a name.  I’m open to suggestions. Please give me your thoughts on what I should call this painting!

I was trying to get it more like the experienced artist in the below video but mine did not come out like his. However I enjoyed painting outside in our backyard in this balmy 71 degree warm weather! Fun!
