In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Take That, Rosetta!.”
Take That, Rosetta!
If you could wake up tomorrow and be fluent in any language you don’t currently speak, which would it be? Why? What’s the first thing you do with your new linguistic skills?
Spanish.
Large Hispanic population in New York. In fact Spanish is the most widely spoken language in New York at least I believe so. Also Spanish is like a second language here. Many jobs require that applicants speak, read and write Spanish.
Shock my Spanish speaking friends by fluently conversing with them. They would be so pleased because they always encourage me to practice and watch the Novelas.

Magic Seeds from the Core of the Big Apple

Snowstorm Juno Brooklyn, New York Jan. 2015
Snowstorm Juno NYC. These were taken within a two block radius of my house. Fulton Street, Rockaway Avenue & Hull Street between 5:30 am and 6:00am. The MTA worker shoveling in front of my train station probably thought I was nuts. I told him that I was taking photos of the closed subway station for my job.
Yes I will brave almost any weather for my art!! Feeling exhilarated and invigorated!!
