Ash Wednesday ~~ Lent

For Christians today is Ash Wednesday the beginning of Lenten Season. I’m not much on celebrating Holidays or even going to church. Actually I almost never attend Church however I feel that with everything that is going on in my life and my country this year would be a good idea to observe Lent.

During Lent Christians usually give up something for 40 days. I think for me since I have an extremely hectic work schedule I need to give up one of my blogs and therefore Espiritu en Fuego is gonna go silent or at least less posts for the next 40 days.

I don’t have the time. I work some times 16 hours straight and I am living in a perpetual state of being overwhelmed. Obviously being that the rents and cost of living in New York is extremely high I will be putting in those extra hours of overtime just to survive.

Also I’ve noticed that I have less and less to say. At least nothing I say or write is meaningful. At least not to me. I think that’s a sign I need to stop and reflect or at least redirect my efforts. Plus I’m getting up to 100 email messages a day. That means I’ve begun the process of unsubscribing from blogs that are not in my interests. I do not have time to read all these blogs nor to comment on them.

Therefore I’ve decided to put what little free time and energy I have towards my photography blog Roaming Urban Gypsy. I’m Overwhelmed 24/7/365.  You may continue to visit me at this link:  https://roamingurbangypsy.com/

At this point in my life Enough is Enough. I have very little time for myself and with my upcoming vacation I plan to spend time with my brother Stephen.

How other Bloggers manage I don’t know but it’s time for me to throw in the towel at least for a little while.  When I asked myself Why I’m doing this No good answer came back to reply.

I will not be responding to comments because I don’t have time. Nor will I address this issue on my other blogs because I know folks will want to chime up but it is not an issue up for discussion.
