The New York Times did an article on my brother Stephen who has Autism and me. Please click the link and take time to read this eye opening article of our lives. My hope is that this revealing article will not only change our lives but the lives of other people who have developmentally disabled siblings. Please share this post with your networks. Thank you.

Deborah–I hope your employer sees this and is able to help you out. No say in your own two-week vacation? What dark age are they living in??
Thank you. I feel like I’m a 19th Century worker out of the Charles Dickens novel.
No kidding! That’s just a shame.
Reblogged this on A Call to Witness and commented:
When you Love someone no risk is too great. Love transcends all fear. Please read and me and my wonderful brother Stephen Palmer.
You and your brother are remarkable people!
Nice article, and in The New York Times! Since you’ve shared other stories of your brother and family, I had that “I know these people” feeling as I read it. The words of your parents: “You have to stick together. Stick together…” became important to Stephen and you. And you’ll never be sorry for taking it to heart.
The article is beautiful!
Deborah, you are the epitome of goodness and I do hope the universe conspires to find a way to ease your burdens.
Thanks everyone! Stephen and I appreciate the positive words, support, prayers and encouragement. God Bless!
You are the true meaning of Brotherly Love.
Thank you for visiting
As always Sheldon
Thank you for visiting my blog also. I really appreciate your support. Deepest gratitude and I wish you all the best in life.
Just stopped by to see you
How are you feeling these days
Hope all is well
As always Sheldon
Holding on by a thread. Put for schedule changes at my workplace. Hopefully my employers will have mercy and be compassionate so that I can spend more time with my brother Stephen.
