About 20 years ago we were coworkers at a major New York City Nonprofit. Always a good guy. One of the best. Taken so young at age 47. I believe that he had a heart attack.

Truly tomorrow is not promised to us. None can stay the Angel of Death.

Over the last ten years I’ve been to many wakes, funerals and memorials for People in their 40s and especially those in their 50s. Literally every few months someone I know or worked with passes away. The Baby Boomers and even those behind us are leaving this earth. Like the Greatest Generation we are being gathered unto the Ancestors. Sobering Thoughts.

    1. Death doesn’t discriminate between young and old. Another coworker from the Museum had a massive heart attack on the job. He left behind a pregnant wife. Dave was age 59.

      Then the disabled daughter of a woman I knew died. That little girl was maybe 11. Her lungs gave out. It’s like a domino effect.
