I used to call these “Pimp Cars”! 😀
Yup!! LOL!! Back in the 60s and 70s probably a lot of pimps and some preachers who act like pimps had those cars but they were popular in showing that you were prosperous and successful. I remember from my Jheri Curl days my hair dresser had a Cadillac with the front sofa seat so large that I could have laid down on it and went to sleep. It was an all day affair doing my hair and I was usually the last customer so she always dropped me back home to my parents. Those cars were gas guzzlers and I’m surprised to see one of my Brooklyn neighbors with one!! Well to each his own!! 🙂 😀
