A similar incident happened to my Dad Edward Palmer during the Korean War in the 1950s right in our nation’s capital of Washington DC! 

Not much has changed for Black Veterans. The false accuser was a Trump supporter. Even though the Veteran presented his Military ID and Discharge papers his meal was still taken away. 

As a US ARMY VETERAN This makes me feel sad but at least things worked out so he could fed many homeless Veterans but probably not at Chili’s.
