In June a white woman called the cops on an 8 year old Black girl for selling bottles of water because she wanted to finance a trip to Disneyland.

This evil backfired as a good Samaritan sent the little girl and her family Free Disney tickets.

Now a white woman called the cops on a Black child for earning money by mowing lawns.

Why is it when Black children do positive uplifting work white people feel compelled to call the police?

At least the white woman attempts backfired.

The little boy’s law mowing business has grown and increased despite her efforts to destroy.

Truly July 4th still excludes Black people in 2018 just in 1776.

However as African Americans we overcome every obstacle white people throw in our pathway.

Times Past: Bicycles

Baby Boomer- St. Albans, Queens, New York city

My brother Stephen sometime in the 1960s on his Tricycle. Stephen and I grew up in St. Albans, Queens located in New York city. I had a red bike but I don’t have any photos of me on the bike. However I did find this great photo of Stephen on his Tricycle. Our Dad Edward Palmer used took the picture.

With my poor eyesight the only bikes I ride now are exercise bikes.

Being that Stephen lives in a Group Home Residence for adults with Autism his bike riding is also limited to gym exercise bikes.
