Sylvester & Weezer Watching over their Kingdom
Sylvester & Weezer Watching over their Kingdom

What is your favorite animal?

Cats. I have two. Sylvester & Weezer.

Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?

K – 12 hard. I was terrible at math. Always failing. The only reason I got promoted was because of the New York State Regents exams.  College was a much different story. I went to and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and Loved it! The difference between K-12 and College was that at MMC for the most part I got to choose subjects I enjoyed and all the professors were challenging. I suppose another factor was that I went to College late in life. I was 36 when I began my studies. Marymount Manhattan College was one of the best experiences of my life.

If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts?

I had retina surgery on my left eye Jan. 2010. My eyesight had been very badly damaged from a minor stroke in Jan. 2008. Basically I spent nearly all 2009 blind in my left eye. The operation restored part of my vision but not all. Now my vision is 20/100.  I had to stop driving and I still have problems judging distance, ie going up and down stairs. I wear corrective glasses which help. As I get older there are so many things wrong with my eyes that contacts would do me no good whatsoever.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Grateful for Life, Health and a possible Romantic Love Connection. Looking forward to getting to know Mr. Caramel man better.  Actually Mr. Coffee with cream reminds me of the character Rerun in the What’s Happening Show!!  Not in looks but that he is always bouncy and smiley.
