Been anywhere recently for the first time? Well one of my many doctors moved their office further uptown but that’s about it. I don’t do any traveling that entails leaving New York City. I’d like to but I don’t have the money for even a bus or train trip upstate to the country. I still want to go to Saratoga for the hot springs but that is only a dream/fantasy. No money. No tickets! However my doctors are getting rich from me so they are probably taking many wonderful trips and vacations!

I don’t cook so I don’t or would not miss any of them. As long as Take Out and Grub Hub exist I’m good.

Nope

Purple or Red. Right now I’ve gone back to gray since my hair has started to come out I just cut it all off.

That’s about it. I have no special gifts or talents. You won’t see me on Dancing with the Stars or America’s Got Talent because I have none!

Plus I don’t think I’m a good writer. Nothing stands out about me. Obviously I’m Not good at keeping up with Share Your World as I am almost 3 weeks behind but a lot has been going on in my life mostly not good but I won’t share that. Way too depressing. I will only share happy news when it comes.

Tough

What is set as the background on your computer?

This is a clunky notebook so whatever comes up. Usually some sort of Nature scene.

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?

Thanks to Uncle Sam I was stationed in Germany. I took vacation in Spain plus some of the surrounding European countries. I’ve also been to Nassau, Bahamas, Jamaica West Indies and Canada. Probably a few more that I can’t remember.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?

Since I don’t like to cook Yes for cooking, plus doing laundry, sweeping, mopping, etc. Housework takes a lot out of me and after each task I must lay down. I’m exhausted. Frankly I need help with everything!

My room-mate does the Yard work.

If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain?

What calms you down? Sleep. Being a high strung person the only time I’m really calm is when I’m asleep and sometimes not even then. However I’ve become very good at hiding my anxiety and internal panic. Sometimes that does not work and I get horrendous headaches which started in October 2017. Let’s hope the headaches go away in 2018.

I very seldom do or buy anything for myself especially during the Holiday Season as things are very hectic at work but I actually purchased some things I needed and wanted.

Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?

I sleep with comforters and/or blankets so once I make the bed I don’t get under my sheets.

Have you stolen a street sign before?

Before? Does this mean I should be in the habit of stealing street signs? This is a weird question. In New York they are so high up off the ground plus they are securely anchored/bolted in place it would be near to impossible to steal one unless it fell to the ground after getting hit by a car, bus or truck. Anyway with all the snow, ice, sleet and freezing rain why in the heck would I be outside in bad weather, climbing up a pole to steal a street sign??

Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?

I don’t cut coupons. I don’t have time since I spend long hours on my job. Most stores have Rewards Cards in which the discounts are already included. I use those Discount Reward Cards at the grocery store, Petco, Beauty stores, and Walgreens, Rite-Aid and Duane Reade.

Do you have freckles?

No.

Grateful to have made it safely through the nasty snow, sleet, ice, freezing rain and below freezing temps!! Looking forward to warmer weather.

Yes! Nerd City! LOL!! 🙂

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?

Being that my family is my cat Sylvester. (My brother Stephen does not live with me.) And Sylvester is a Mouser Extraordinaire that would be one Dead Mouse!! Be it Chuck E. Cheese, Mickey, Minnie or Mighty Mouse (which are nothing but glorified rats to me!) I’d be playing Taps for the mouse before evening became morning.

Would you rather not be able to read or not be able to speak?

Speak. Reading is my Life. Anyway technology exists for people with brain damage, damaged or non-working voice boxes that enables them to speak.

I will use a modified Facebook post to declare my Gratitude and Appreciation!!

First reason for my Love of my Dresses: The Visitors/Public often mistake me for a man. At least once or twice a week museum visitors address me as Sir or Mr. ???? Sometimes instead of the pants I’ll wear the skirt so they will at least see me as female not male.

Why do I Love wearing dresses?! Because of all the Lovely compliments. Usually many of my co-workers are only used to seeing me in my rather drab ugly uniform. This morning I ran into male co-worker at the local deli not far from our workplace. He had such nice things to say about my dress and about how much better it looked than the uniform! LOL! I just felt so happy and the good feeling stayed with me all day! For women our uniforms make us look like Charlie Chaplin! Yes Dresses are much much better. Makes me feel so feminine. Singing the song, “I feel Pretty! Oh So Pretty!” LOL!!
