“Punctuation” – Songs From The Electric Company TV Show
Back in the 1970s I Loved Schoolhouse Rock and The Electric Company. Over 40 years later I still remember most of the lyrics to all those educational cartoons.

Grammar Rock “Verb”
Those of you who recall the movies from the 70s will get the Action Jackson reference!! LOL!!
Schoolhouse Rock also taught history, numbers gave the viewer a basic understanding of the U.S. government and the constitution something our current politicians seem to lack.
I’m Just a Bill (Schoolhouse Rock!)
Schoolhouse Rock- The Preamble
HeadStart, Schoolhouse Rock and early childhood parenting skills interventions need to come back. Thank you for posting this reminder.

Amen to that. I was fortunate and blessed in that my wonderful beautiful Mother Mable Elizabeth Palmer taught me how to read, write, spell and do a few sums before I even entered school. By age 4 I could read quite well. Not just for K-12 but also for Sunday School where I had to memorize Bible verses. But back in the 60s and 70s my neighborhood was my village. Any adult could discipline you or tell your parents if you got caught doing wrong. Church was mandatory and Teachers were held in High Respect unlike today. Of course I Loved Schoolhouse Rock as a child and some 40+ years later I can still sing many of those tunes by heart! 🙂 ❤
