Share Your World – 2015 Week #11

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

Life and Health

Do you prefer ketchup or mustard or mayonnaise?

Ketchup but if no Ketchup I’ll take honey mustard on my sandwich. I’m allergic to mayonnaise.

If you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?

Red, Blue & Green.

Do you prefer a bath or shower?

Shower. Quicker and more efficient. I do enjoy baths when I have time to enjoy a long soak. I Love Bubble baths but I usually wind up taking Epsom Salt baths to soothe my arthritis.  I wish I lived in a High Tech House by the beach with a Hot Tub and one of those showers that has shower heads that massage you from all angles.  Long ago I went to Warm Springs, Ga to visit FDR’s Little White House. At the time it was thought that the hot springs soothed and eased President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s polio.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

My New Bed. Great for my aching back. Warmer temps in New York City. Now I can do more walking exercise outside. Being outside on a warm Spring day gives me more photo opportunities.

    1. Yes. So Very True. When I went years ago I was in my 20s with no joint, knee or back problems. I was extremely healthy. Now that I’m in my mid-50s I need to return to Georgia, visit my friends in Columbus and have them drive me to Warm Springs, GA so I can soak in the healing waters for now I really need it.

    1. Yes I do feel better but rain and cold are still my enemies. Thinking of moving to Arizona, Florida, California or anyplace warm within the United States. In the meantime this new solid bed has made a big difference! Feeling more sturdy.

      1. I well understand your wish to move to a warmer climate; here in Singapore I’m now a hothouse plant and the thought of living in cold Europe again sends shivers down my
        spine.

        Stay well, Friend.

        Always

    1. Years ago my parents had a retirement place in Florida. It was near Ft. Myers. When they died I sold the house. Anyway I was always making trips back and forth. Also I have a girlfriend who lives near Disney world. Got to see the park while I was there. One of my Aunts used to live near Miami. Went to visit her a few times. Problem with Florida is that you must drive. Since my retina surgery in Jan. 2010 I’ve had to give up driving. Gotta move to a place where there is plenty of 24 hour public transportation. 🙂 ❤

      1. I see. I don’t drive, either. My husband drives. I live close to the theme parks. Where does your girlfriend live? I was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Orlando. I have been out west and back, and now I live in St Cloud.
